HI
@Jancol
Sorry I didn't realise you were another Aussie....I try and keep an eye out for new ones on the board. I just saw the 2 tags asking me to pop in and see if I could help......haven't been online for a couple of days.
Anyway welcome!

Cher is beautiful....I love Burmese cats.
Cher has a few issues going on and I see you are having issues with the food being HC with the FD and trying to juggle IBD.
I used to give Sheba kangaroo meat every day and she loved it. I bought it at WW and used to get the kangaroo steak.
You could try her with that and see if she will eat it. Just cut it up into bite sizes pieces.
I originally started with the raw diet because she had ongoing unexplained diarrhoea. After starting the raw diet she didn't have it again...
If you give the kangaroo meat just be aware that it has virtually no carbs so it will make a big difference to Chers BSL and you will need to monitor her BSLs closely to start with.
It is a really good food for FDs but it is very low fat so you will need to feed other meats as well, long term. If you try the kangaroo and find she likes it and it is OK with her IBD I will try and help you work out a raw food diet that is suitable for her and that she can tolerate, if you would like to do that.
I don't agree with your vet that you have to stay on the ZD...there are other alternatives.
Here is the kangaroo meat I used.
