Last night's modified curve

I increased Zeke to 1.5 this am after holding at 1.25 for days. He's running high again. Please look at recent numbers and advise if I'm doing the right thing. Thanks. He jumped to midday number of 331. I guess he'll be wonky for a bit? (Our days and nights are reversed, I'm 3rd shift). Curve is at night, AM is before bed for us.

Looks like a little bouncing action from that nice string of blues last night....give him time...hopefully the depot will build and he'll be back on the beach in no time :)

Thanks for the reply, so I’ll stay at 1.5 then and hope he levels out.

With the green you saw yesterday at 1.25 I don't know that an increase is due yet. But I am not experienced so can't give real dosing advice. If @Wendy&Neko is on later maybe she can check in or others may stop in too :)

I already increased tonight. I'll keep a good check on him tonight. If he bounces badly I'll wonder if it's just the dose change or that it's too high.(?) I'll post new numbers tomorrow if it happens. Thanks!

Have you decided yet whether you are Tight Regulation or Start Low Go Slow as your dosing method? If so, could you put TR or SLGS in your signature, so we can help you better.

Regardless of dosing method, I would not have increased tonight. Zeke’s numbers are higher because he is bouncing due to that 67 yesterday. Remember, we dose primarily based on how low the dose takes the cat, not the highs. 67 is a nice nadir and doesn’t leave much room for an increase. Plus the depot was not full yet due to the reduced dose a few nights ago.

Would you go back to 1.25 for next dose in Am then? Also I had seen him approaching 4s and more several mornings so I thought it was the thing to do. I’ll go back to 1.25 unless I hear from you different.

Not really using any particular method.

People here choose one of the dosing methods, depending on what suits their goals and lifestyle, the dosing method tells us when to increase or decrease the dose. Once you hav decided which dosing method you would like to follow, we will be able to help you with dosing decisions.

After .25 increase, his numbers are great! I’m going to hold at 1.5 for now: pm+2/ 257 pm+5/ 104 pm+7/ 85. Am/ 158 (1.5u) am+7/ 117.
