Previous Thread Today is Sam's one year insulinversary for his second diagnosis. He's gone from being a wild kitty that would never hold still and hissed and bit and growled and ran away during testing, to a sweet, purring, cuddly kitty who reminds me quite insistently when it's time for a test. Okay, he's still a little wild, but much more tame than he was a year ago! Of course he starts this month in the middle of another pancreatitis flare, but I'm learning to respond quicker and manage them better, so the bad days are less and not as severe as they were. Here is a picture of him sleeping deeply in a rare Seattle sunbeam: There are no words to express my gratitude for the love and wisdom in this group. We wouldn't have made it through the last few years (and this year in particular) without the community here. Thank you for walking with us through this journey.
