yesterday's post
Last night was a night of greens, the first long stretch we've had for a month and the first on this dose. I decided to supplement the first few hours with one tsp of MC food since he dropped fairly early (65 @+2), and I didn't want him going too low. He has bounced back up this a.m., but not too high. I hope we see some greens again today.
I warmed Jude's insulin this morning between my fingers. I noticed that as soon as I pushed the plunger, he flinched (but no biting thank goodness). I'll keep working on strategies to make this easier on him, but I'm thinking it's the insulin stinging him. He's trying his best.
Have a great Thursday, everyone!
Edited to add: I also changed his shot location from the flank to the scruff this morning. I have avoided the scruff because I've heard it's fattier and, therefore, the absorption might not be as effective. I think the location change was easier for him, but not significantly.
