I canceled her glucose curve test. Got in a disagreement with the vet over Sugar's treatment. I'm currently waiting to hear back from another vet in town, she came highly recommended by people I've talked to, so I'm hoping she'll take us on. I haven't updated Sugar's spreadsheet for the last couple hours, I'll get on that ASAP. We're passing around some nasty stomach bug, yay cold/flu season. Thank you all so much for the support and advice I've gotten. It really has helped us so much.

Thank you. She seems like a much better fit. She's willing to hear me out and make decisions together. She doesn't like glucose curves, especially not in office but said I can do them if it makes me feel better. She said everything we're doing is good. We see her on Feb 27th for a fructosamine test and general checkup. She said her main goal is to get us to remission, if that's possible for Sugar. She did say that she prefers proZinc to lantus but said we could discuss it. For now, I'm hopeful, we'll see how it goes though.

Great New!!!!!

I know, I'm so relieved. It feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
Now it’s time to relax, it sounds like this vet will be good for you and Sugar, I’m really happy for you, just don’t abandon us, we are always here for you, and it would be great to always consult with Suzanne for dosing to make sure Sugar won’t step a paw backwards:D:bighug::bighug::cat::cat:

Oh absolutely, I'll be here frequently. I still have a lot left to learn. This place has been more help than anything else that I've read. It means so much to have people to talk to that have been there before. I would be so lost if I hadn't found this forum. I'll definitely be sticking around :)
