Gentle is looking FINE.

One suggestion, many of us have found that our cats do better with doing smaller dose reductions, usually reducing by 0.25 units at a time. This seems to help level the numbers out while keeping the "momentum" going. Kind of like gently weaning the amount of insulin down at a rate that they don't really notice.

I know you were left on your own here last night, not your fault, but I thought I would throw my opinion in here.

thanks so much for your input ! we'll be checking a +5 number in a few mins. see where we are at. We were going by the 10-15% reccomended on the board, which is inbetween .25 and .50. We'll adjust this one if we have to ???? and do the .25 when the next adjustment is called for.
thanks again !

Re: 01/03 Gentle PMPS 237

Hi all, Gentle had a weird little bounce back today, but we think it's because he slept through his snack time. It was too close to his shot time when he awoke so, didn't get his regular snack.
Otherwise he's had a pretty good day. He's gotten very into grooming himself again, and he's playing like he used to before he was diagnosed.

Alls well for him so far

To add on to Libby's note, you might want to consider editing the subject line of your first post of the day to include Gentle's most current BG level. I suspect that if people saw the 47 last night, they would have stopped by to make sure you had all of the tools you needed and been available to brainstorm the dose adjustment. With the old Board, we could see all of the individual posts in a condo. It's not possible to do that with the new site -- it takes some getting used to!
