Wow, I can't believe a year has gone by since we celebrated Zoe going to OTJ! She is doing beautifully. We have had a few other health issues (Feline Asthma, enlaged heart and a couple of teeth that needed extracted) in the past 6 months, but she is feeling good, eating good (FINALLY!), is playful and purry. Life is truly good.
I truly remember the fear I felt when we got her diagnosis...how would we ever be able to treat this?? Thank you to everyone on FDMB who has been with us, through out our journey, we wouldn't be here without you!
I still test her BG about every other week. I want to keep in practice and I want her to remember that it is OK to be tested. She can be a little "sassy" when it come to things being done to her.....it took several weeks before I could BG test her by myself.....now she barely notices and doesn't care whether she gets a treat or not.....as long as there are extra scratches, she is happy.
Happy 2010 to all of our friends on FDMB!
