Daily Digest:
PMPS+10=371. Food gone from overnight. Will see what happens by AMPS
AMPS=343. 2.25U Wellness out, 1.5 cans (13.5 oz each). Three catsicles out. Will see how she does today.
+9.5=227. Snack out for everyone.
+11=213.
PMPS=225. Evo down. She's apparently starving. 2.25U and away we go!!!

Morning, LL!

First day of the last semester of nursing school - the grind begins again. But hey - I've made it this far!

Esse's starting out high today - very little food left out from last night. I wonder what the AMPS will brng...

last semester! Hope it goes well for u, u have so much on ur plate, but I know u can do it.

This is supposed to be the toughest semester, so I'm prepared and hopefully will get through without too many sleepless nights...but we'll see. LOL.

I don't know if Esse was a piggie, or if I have a group of piggies...LOL...but there is enough food out for breakfast, lunch, and a snack...we'll see how things go during the day.

Food was gone - GONE - when I walked in the door. Utterly demolished. So I found her, tested her (+9.5) and she was at 227. I put more food out.

And I have to say - this is freaky, freaky weather. Two tornados confirmed down in Los Angeles - both very weak, but both came down. I don't think the damage was bad either time, but still. Tornados in LA? Beeeeeeeeeeeeeee zzzzzzzzzzzzaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....not to mention the incredible lightning and thunder...and it's really cold, too (at least for us). I found 5 cats snuggled in my (unmade) bed, and Esse was tucked down under the blankets...bless her, she was pissed off when I unearthed her and poked her ear. LOL.

The barn is flooded - I'm not allowed there at the moment; I don't have a truck, and my car would get stuck there. LOL...Tango is happy in his shavings and bedding, and got an extra serving of hay and some cobcorn and sweet potatos - both some of his favorite foods...

And we're not done with this weather yet...the most dangerous storm is headed our way, eta sometime tomorrow afternoon/early evening, and all through Thursday, with rain possible through at least Sunday. Yowza....and I've got slow cooker stew going and will make some buiscuits for dinner tonight. LOL...cold weather food!

That's the update for us...

It's always good to see friends...and I've got a great group to work with. And - as luck would have it - I'm back on the same floor I did my very first rotation in...I adored some of those nurses, and it's good to finish where I started, you know? It's going to be a tough semester, but it will come out well. I'll just get through and work hard and keep my nose to the grindstone, and life will be as it's supposed to be.

Dinner smells really good - I try to eat at the same time as the kitties; makes them less likely to swarm me and try to tackle me for whatever I'm eating...so we should all be eating in about 30 minutes.

And cool news - I bought a giant cat tree/kitty condo online on the 15th...Saturday. It's supposed to be delivered TODAY already...and I'm so not ready. LOL...the kitties will have to wait until Friday before I can put the time aside to put it together...but it's 73 inches tall by 38 inches square. They are going to simply adore it! (I'm still not sure where I want to put it...probably the bedroom, but there's this spot in the living room that is screaming for a kitty playground...)

I am so willing to fly my 7 out to play on your kitty condo. It could be a play date. But first, your whacky weather must pass...saw CA weather on the news this morning and thought of you adn your crew! Stay safe and warm. Good luck with the grind!

BTW, that +11 is looking pretty good!

Yeah, that +11 looked great. She popped up a tad, but not a big deal.

Amy, can you imagine your crew and my crew together? That would be 16 cats!! Oy gevalt! BTW, I got it on Overstock, and think I got a great deal on it (used some Christmas money...).

Yeah, you know it's weird weather when the national news is talking about tornado warnings in Los Angeles...I mean, really. Here? Good grief. I mean, that's like talking earthquakes in, oh, Minnesota!

Homework time, and dinner time for me...will catch a bedtime check, and then an early am check...but have two papers to get written, so...gotta git...
