Haven't posted since Thursday - work was busy and we had family in town this weekend. Not much to report. Logan still doesn't want to eat on his own. He won't eat more than a few bites of anything. He had a good day Saturday where he came out and was somewhat social. Since then, he's been staying to himself. He's getting a little difficult about the tube feedings. He just doesn't like it. I'm worried about him.
The internist wants us to start prednisolone tomorrow. She's starting him on 10mg twice a day for three days and then 5 mg twice a day for 1-2 weeks. She's also suggesting we give him colustrum (sp?) twice a day. I'm really hoping he'll show some more interest in eating after we start the pred. I'm so scared he's not going to eat again.
He's still so lethargic and just doesn't have any sparkle in his eyes.
I'm hoping his super high BG this morning was a spike from the anti-nausea medication. We usually test him at the same time we give it, but this morning, it was about 45 min after.
