Good morning, Lantus Land & furbaby friends!! ~O)
Baby is doing just lovely on this early AM, but no WCR as we got up to test/shoot/feed & are going right back to bed for a few hours before I go to work :-D

Wow what a day you guys had yesterday. Glad you were home to catch all the action. Hope Baby behaves for you today. Gotta love the whole fetch bit. Wish I could teach my kitties how to fetch. I throw their toys and they usually bat them around somewhere where they can't get them and I have to fetch them.

Thank you! We sure appreciate your encouraging words!! This has been quite the sugar dance for Baby & I, but well worth every moment!
Here is my question, she was on .75 for 3 days & we got greens in the evening - I know last night was a little low - so I was advised to dosecrease to .50
But I think that .75 is Baby's breakthru dose? I am concerned putting her back at .50 the greens will go away & the yellows will stay... :?:

If it's truly her breakthrough dose, she won't backslide. If she does, you just go right back up. If it turns out you're bouncing between .5 being too little and .75 being too much, there are secret ninja measuring techniques to get you doses between .5 and .75. (there are at least 2, if not 3!!)

But for now... try the 0.5 and see if she can stick it there. Maybe it's all moot!

Greg is correct. If 0.75 is the breakthrough, then an earned decrease is just that -- Baby telling you she needs less insulin. Keep in mind though, there can be ups and downs with doses. It's not a steady downward progression. As Baby's pancreas recovers, it may not always produce a steady amount of it's own insulin so the dose needs may go up and down.

I just did.. just kind of disappointed after seeing greens the last few days, I think she needs to stay on .75
Thank you for thinking of us...
 
today was just a bounce from the 40's last night, and it looks like it is already clearing. She might be green again tomorrow (or sooner!).

baby's doing well... very well. all you were seeing was a bounce from those 40s last night... and look! she's coming down already! :-D
