I haven't posted much in LL over the past few months because there hasn't been much to report. Dude is doing okay - still bouncing around depending on the moon and whatever mood HE happens to be in.

This just about says it all - he needs to relax a bit as you can see by the above picture. He seems to feel fine - acts like his normal 15-year-old self - still tries to intimidate (sometimes without success) Mittsi on a daily basis - and loves having his meals split and a late afternoon snack - this schedule seems to keep his numbers on a lower average - don't ever expect to have an OTJ party for him but if we ever get him below 200 for 14 days in a row, perhaps we can have a HE MAY BE REGULATED party......

Big hugs to those of you who have had such sadness in losing your babies - we all grieve for those who had to leave us and send many comforting prayers to you who miss them so much. Every one we lose brings a tear and a sigh to us on the board.

Oh, and as soon as I have the time and can figure out the signature & pics on here, I'll get it set up.....

It's so good to see you Emmie. Dude you are as handsome as always. Tori's ears perked up when she saw your picture. Glad that you two are hanging in there in this crazy thing we call the Sugar Dance. I know how frustrating it can be. Sometimes our kitties can be so stubborn. But if they weren't they wouldn't be our kitties.

To me Dude is one of my heroes. Yeah I know he has never gone OTJ but you guys have hung in there taking one day at a time . He is happy and beautiful. Sometimes that's all we can hope for. You inspire me to keep on truckin.

Love you guys.

Hi Emmy! It's so good to hear from you and Dude (and Mittsi too)! Hope all is well with you guys.

Good to see you Emmie. Glad Dude is doing well. I'll vote for the regulated part. Sure would beat jumping through the hoops. Hope all else is well.

hey you! was hoping you heard that it was oldtimers day (every caturday is from now on) and would stop by. :-D
love his WCR, it really does say it all. for those that do not know dude, he has been diabetic for what some 6 years now? and is one of the all time hardest to regulate cats that ever graced the pages of FDMB. however like i've been saying to all the oldtimers, each LL cat brings something to the collective knowledge here. and dude brings a WCR that doesn't know what SS looks like. proof that it is NOT all about the numbers, it is about how the cat is doing. doesn't matter if you have the flattest lowest curves if your WCR is no good! remember cats can't count past 2 (but they can read a clock, thank goodness, since my diabetic cats have always told me when it is shot time since i have no sense of time) and the cats don't care what number is on meter. much more important to check and make sure that other cat with too many toes did not get some snackus that you missed out on.

and sure we can have a party for him....we just need a month that doesn't have any full moons in it, i'll check my calender.

ya forgot your SS, but is okay we can look at that some other time. i never say never, what is life if not a series of trials, trying new things to reach goals?

that cat really does look stressed, poor thing.

Somehow I missed that you had changed to TID, looks like that is working out pretty well for Dude.

oh my gosh there's dude! he has a condo! :-D

hi emmy! and mittsi! and dude! *wave* still a moon kitty, i see. once a moon kitty, always a moon kitty, eh?

Hi Emmy.. So glad to see you on the board. I have often wondered how you and the Dude were doing!

Yes, that pic just shows how he is truly one great big furball of nerves.. lol! Such a handsome kitty...

Glad to hear that the TID is working for him..
