Good morning, LL ~O)
Too early to give a WCR, but Baby has had her breakfast & we are going BTB

**Baby was dosecreased to .25 after dropping below 50 the last 2 PM Cycles. We are also moving our shot time in 15 min increments to get to a 5am/5pm schedule to allow for my work this week, Baby will have a petsitter giving her PM dose Sunday/Monday/Tuesday.

**Scared about having a petsitter, but am being brave for Baby's sake.. just a lot of changes at once.. but that is the sugar dance!

I hope that the 0.25 will keep Baby from dropping so low and bouncing back. All kitties and myself are cheering and hoping over here :RAHCAT

Good luck with the petsitter today. I pray that it will all work out.

Geez talk about a small dose .25 is VERY hard for me to measure. It looks like it is a good place to be though - she has really come down in 3 hours, which of course is right on track for her drops. I am excited to see how the PM cycle plays out. Of course we know it can take a few days to see how this looks. I am really pleased with her PM progress to date. I think this is a good time to go to .25 too, it will have me less worried when I am gone for 13 hours!

.25 seems like soooooo little! I can only imagine the folks on less.... good grief I could go cross eyed! :razz:

Good luck with the dosecresae and pet sitter.
I can't say I can relate to a .25 dose (Max is at 5.75) but Baby will be fine.
They do sell magnifier's for the syringes if you need. lol.

LOL Nicole!! Webber started on 0.25U and I thought I was going to go cross-eyed too. I have seen some of those SS too with doses like 0.1???? How in the world??? I am impressed I must say.
 
Good luck with the dose decrease. It doesn't look all that great right now, but it could just be the bounce from yesterday.

Hope you see some improvement tonight, when Baby's number have been dropping.

ok, so I peeked at Baby's spreadsheet and it looks like she's still bouncing a little. Tomorrow she'll come down. Hope you had a good night. :smile:
 
Thanks LIbby I was worried because she had not posted. Hoped everything was ok with Baby. I forgot we could check her SS.
 
Just a little.. okay A LOT sad... no matter what I do it does not work.. thank you for thinking of us... I just decided not to waste FDMB time anymore.... I will not give up.. I will keep giving inuslin & BG Testing.. I give .50 & she goes nearly Hypo then bounces.. I decrease & she stays yellow.. I have been crying all night.. sorry for not posting.. just want to give the kittys who work the attention.
 
oh puh-leeze!!!

Baby is doing sooooooo well. You don't see it because you're too close to it, but she is actually quite the overachiever. 0.25 units!!! And you know what, even if she goes back up it's still only 0.5. Every cat bounces, all of them. No problem, and no waste of time!
 
(((((nicole)))))) Yellow is not bad, I think she needs time with this new dosecrease at 0.25. I know how you feel. You feel like no matter what you do she doesn't seem to follow the textbook. I sooo wish I could do or say something to make you feel better. I know that there is a lot of other stressers in addition to Baby that are not making matters any better.

Please to continue to post. Alot of us have been following you and think of you and Baby. If anything just give a little update. But it is up to you. I think that by the end of next week everything will seem better.

I worry about you......I will be thinking of you and your furbabies and praying for you all :YMHUG:

Really? Waste of time? You're kidding, right?
Wipe your eyes, blow your nose, and stop feeling sorry for yourself and take about 5 giant steps backwards and look at your SS.
I totally understand your frustration. I was there in, oh, about October and November.

Baby has been on insulin since early December. You've been part of the LL community for less than a month. Take a look at Lucy's SS. Jasper and Velcro who just went OTJ were here for 2 years, just like Lucy. Take a look at Gabby's SS. It's way more "colorful" than Baby's.

Baby is making incredible progress. You're allowed to feel frustrated because you want this sugar dance to be a fast dance and not a waltz. The one realization I had to wrap my head around was that I wasn't setting the beat; Gabby was. Baby will do this as fast or as slow as she wants or has to. All you can do is be her bean. And that is something you can do very, very well.

Take a breath. Have a glass of wine, some chocolate, some ice cream or whatever makes you feel better. And we expect to see a condo tomorrow.

These numbers are really very normal..
Her lil liver is just trying to get use to the lower numbers.. and that will happen!
Right now Baby is on such a low dose which makes her a very lucky kitty..

Sometimes we just need a break (understandable!)..
But, just wanted to chime in and say what a great job you are doing..
Please don't be so hard on yourself ;-)
 
Hi Nicole, I'm sorry you're so upset. It's completely understandable. I know ECID, and I'm sorry that is feels like everything is working against you.

But if I could say anything, you have been so instrumental in Moses' progress. Nearly every day I get post from you, always upbeat and always there! You are so special to this board and your words are very special to me. I enjoy your condos and I appreciate it when you say blessings for everybody! I need that kind of encouragement. And I know Baby needs you too.

You are an incrediblely awesome Newbie! And I am so happy that you are here posting and sharing the ups and downs of your life (and Baby's) with me!

i looked at baby's ss before i read this thread... and then i had to go back and look at baby's ss again because i didn't understand what you were so upset about.

BABY IS DOING VERY WELL. YOU ARE DOING AN AWESOME JOB WITH HER.
trust me. i've seen and studied many spreadsheets over the last several years. everything is good here... very, very good. :-D
