Yesterday's Condo

Gabby was more active and inquisitive than usual this morning - and I also think a bit impatient for breakfast. She was determined to make sure the living room was "safe" for habitation - she checked every corner, determined the scratching post was in working order, the rug hadn't moved during the night, etc. before planting herself in the kitchen. She also polished the food bowls. It finally stopped snowing.

Gabby seems to have been surfing in the yellows since last night.

not a bad surf at all! Sometimes these even surfs lead to something good. Hope that is the case for you guys!

Tonight's shot was weird. Gabby moved just as I was inserting the syringe. The needle hit her shoulder blade and came out bent. There was nothing left in the syringe. I feel badly -- she whimpered.

And yes Joyce, I know that a flat yellow cycle could mean a long night ahead.

Well, despite my not given the most delicate of shots, the insulin clearly went in and the PM looks like it's going to be busy. That AM flat yellow and PM action adage seems to be a real possibility tonight.
