I haven't posted here in a few days because Boomer's numbers have been a bit higher - and I was a little bummed about it. He's also been puking a bit more. Not an outrageous amount at all - just a bit more. It looked like he may be getting ready for a decrease about a week ago and then numbers got a little higher. Now today he gave me a 74 at AM. I am home from work today (mental health day due to being the middle guy in a family problem that I am trying to get out of) and I've been home to monitor some cool numbers:

Am-74
+3- 59
+4.5-57

I'll be doing the +6 in a little while.

I also went out and got some more lower carb foods for him to try. I gave him a lower carb pate food this am and he didn't eat as much as he would. I mixed some 10 carb food in it and he ate some more. He's also eating chicken chunks. I am determined to get him on food below 10 carbs!
 
Hi Traci. Sorry to hear Boomer's numbers have been up lately. This morning's AMPS looks wonderful so I'm glad to see it's helped with perspective.

I hope your mental health day helps! Hang in there - both you and Boomer.

It can get hard when their #s aren't cooperating the way you'd like them to. It really is a roller coaster, isn't it? I hope your day off and the pretty greens give you a much-needed emotional boost. Hang in there, and don't be afraid to ask for support. :)

The mental health day is because I'm in the middle of a divorce between family memebers who may or may not end up divorced. I am related to the "bad" family member and have been speaking to the hurt party trying to help. Then the "bad" person called not knowing I've been talking to the "good" one and now neither know that I've talked to both. Time to back off. I owe one a call and I've been DREADING it. :o :oops: nailbite_smile
 
Man, that sounds tough, Traci. :( Good luck with the phone call and all the other drama in that situation. And as always, good luck for Boomer and his numbers. :)

Thanks, they are good numbers, aren't they? No dose reduction yet, but I have faith!
Would you give me the siamese cat rescue site again? I'd like to take another look. I'll bookmark it this time.
