2/4 Tess PMPS ~ 230

Yesterday's condo

Tess is becoming a surf queen, maybe her name should be Gidget. Shot skinny .75u.

All Ps in place this morning, really playful and alert. Got a fresh hit of catnip in her blankie, too. Only drank 1/4 cup water yesterday, but I have been putting a lot more in her food, almost soupy. Now it doesn't get stuck to the bottom of the bowl and she keeps on eating.She ate a full ounce of 5% Wellness too. :razz: checking again at +2. DH will be here as my ceramics class starts today.

Did anyone else have trouble getting onto the board in the last hour? I could get to other sites, but not FDMB.

I had trouble getting on to the board awhile ago too....Tess looks great!! :thumbup

Such great numbers lately, Tess is doing really well!

I just tested Tess at +2 and got 55. It was a couple of minutes early as she got up and started to eat her snack. I don't think it affected the number as I tested within 5 minutes. She then at about a half ounce of 4% chicken and salmon. No coaxing needed. Test again in two hours? Or sooner.

Well, this is a little lower than normal for this time in the cycle... so I'd test in an hour just to see how she's doing.

Wow Tess - check out your nummers - absolutely beautiful!!!!!! Hope she doesn't drop on you anymore and glad that you are home to check her out before you go to your ceramics class. I just love doing ceramics - so relaxing

Tess at +3:30~63. I fed about quarter ounce of 5% and a small amount (1/2 tsp) of tuna in gravy (15%?) I'll test again at +4.

Tess at +4~59. 63 was partly a bounce from the high carb. She didn't eat much since the +3:30 test. I'll try to get a little in her now. She is busy grooming. Test again in an hour?

i would. just leave food out for her and test earlier if she acts hungry sooner.

Tess at +5~53. Didn't eat much this past hour. Time to tempt her with whatever it takes. She ate a little, but not really hungry now.

Tess @ +6~67. She didn't eat much since last test, so her numbers are going up finally.

Just did a +8 and Tess is up to 115, bit of a food spike there, I hope. This is Ann back now, thanks for giving me the credit, but John did all the food management this afternoon. Thanks to everyone, especially CD and Chris for being there to help. He's having a nap now, too much excitement for him. :lol:

I've been home an hour and a half and she hasn't eaten anything else, so her number may come down again by PS.

looks like her nadir is changing a bit with the change in dose. at some point it would be good to curve her (every 2 hrs) to check onset/nadir. but she's dropping faster and then surfing for a long time with food. the longer you can keep her in nondiabetic numbers, the more pancreatic healing you're promoting, so this is a good thing. i hope you don't mind being there to keep that surf going, tho.

+10 was way up to 177. I guess the surf is over. Would this be a bounce from the 47 or a big food spike from this afternoon?

Tess's nadir does seem to have changed, I agree, and her onset seems to be at + 2 or +3. I don't understand your comment about getting a curve, Chris. Wouldn't the numbers from this AM and yesterday's AM constitute curves w/ some extra tests thrown in? I'm a little confused.

So much for the surf. :sad: Last half of the cycle she really went back up. I really thought she was settling in to this dose.
