Morning LL! Was in the pity pot last nite, feeling sorry for us because Moonie's numbers are going up...Looks like an increase to 1.00 tomorrow.
Sometimes you gotta go up to go down, but Moonie cant hold a decrease for more than 9 days..This was the longest she held green in the last year I think..Talk about frustrating~!! @-) @-) @-)
After all this time, I just want her to stay well & in good numbers-Blues & greens--But knowing her, she usually has yellow in there somewhere.
Moonie feels great in the 200's, dont ask me why--Guess she got used to it the first year here..
Sometimes I feel like I no longer belong on this board, like I am just taking up space...Newbies craving OTJ, and me a long timer, still having difficulty just keeping her regulated...
Well, enough on the pity pot--I just want my cat Healthy & Happy & in decent numbers--ThAT''S WHAT WE ALL SHOULD WANT, INSTEAD OF THIS PUSH EVERYONE HAS TO REMISSION!! Every cat will Not go into remission..We do need to realize that
I'm SO thankful for my Loving, beautiful, sweet ,mostly healthy Moonie--and that happens because we are here--

I'm with you, Roni! I just want good, consistent, safe numbers for Stu. This board is helping us get there and we are grateful. Hang in there!

I've been on the pity pot too! Thank goodness we are both losing weight so there's room for us both! ohmygod_smile

You ARE NOT just taking up space here! Sure, you don't require the help that all the newbies need but you are great at GIVING that help to them....and setting them straight that, in a lot of cases, remission is not possible and that THAT doesn't mean the fur babies can't have a long and enjoyable (and entertaining to us) life. Keep on truckin'! :YMHUG:

YOU got Moonie to that place....and you both are important to each other each and every day!!! That is so good! :razz:

You are important to us here....your attitude is wonderful and you are always offering such wonderful support to everyone on this board....I do not like to hear those words about taking up too much space here.....(and I have heard it from others too. It makes me so sad that you would think that way :sad: ) I love reading your condo each day and we love you and Moonie....we are all family here and it's ok if you want to whine about numbers and all that stuff, but don't go threatening to leave us....hear me? grr_red

Do you feel better now that you got that out of your system? You know, Moonie's journey is important to us all...look how far you have come....I admire the fine job you have done with her...your story is very important to us all and who really knows what will happen to our kitties as time goes by...it's all a process and there is no point in you giving up anything. You wouldn't stop doing what you are doing to help her, right? Your perseverance is admirable...I admire you so much Roni!!!
And just look at Moonie's SS with that one lone PINK...OMG...it's beautiful!!! :mrgreen:
now get off that pot and let ME sit on it for my turn....k? haha_smiley

And I am going to second, and third and forth what was said by Pat,Ella, Brenda and everyone else that will say the same thing.
We all want our kitties, healthy and safe and if we get their numbers down, great, if not, we tried.
I have not been here as long as you, lol, but I do not see any end in sight for Max.
Honestly, going dow from 5.5 (or even 5.75) to nothing?? Maybe I'll be a grandmother by then, lol.
We need and love you, Moonie and Copper on this board but I am happy you vented,
you got the support of your friends and Moonie is healthy.
Can't ask for more right now.
Have an awsome day Roni. You know you deserve it.

Maybe there is some nice numbers in her yet. See what will be at PMps..

I told you they read our posts!!! She was threatened with a dose crease, & she went blue--What a good girl dancing_cat flip_cat dancing_cat
Now we'll see what comes next.. confused_cat --BTW she jumped into my lingerie drawer today :lol: Guess she was trying to look girlie!

(((Roni))) Newbies need lots of support, of course, and it is so worthwhile to see kitties come her and go OTJ quickly with the help of LL. But I think it is harder to be here year in and year out, still struggling. It is condos like yours that I read every day, and where I draw strength from knowing that others are here for the long haul like me. LL wouldn't be the same without you.

So, it looks like I'm late for the Pity Pot Party today!! Roni, the best thing that we can do for our kitties is to make sure that they are happy and healthy, that is what we should be striving for....getting them OTJ is just an added bonus. As you said, not every kitty will go OTJ and not every kitty will stay blue and green. ECID...but they all have one thing in common...beans that love them no matter what number they are!
Please don't think that you are "just taking up space" on the board, because you are not. I too look forward to seeing Moonie's posts and would really miss you. So you gotta stick around..

And yes.....they do read our posts!
