2/6, Boomer's numbers

Hi all-

I hope all of you in the snow storm areas are doing ok.

Boo woke me up at +11 because he was "starving" so I tested and fed him early, oh well.
This is his day so far:

+11-74, FED
AMPS- 101
+3-79
+5-68
+6-77

WCR- I'm cleaning and cooking today; he freaks out and hides when I get domestic, :lol: He's scared of the vacum cleaner and doesn't like it when I was the floors either. I'm making a slow-cooked turkey breast and bacon cornbread stuffing. I'm cooking a nice meal once a week for the BF so we can save money on dinners.

I went and got my nails done today - just a polish change instead on a manicure and I don't love the color. I hate when that happens!!! :YMSIGH:

I'm in a pissy mood now. I've been testing Boomer all day and I give him treats each time (about 4) which has made the latest BG go up too high. I'm pissed at myself. I usually only test 2-3 times a day because I work so the treats (temptations) don't make a difference in his BG's. Here's the update and the ugly number:

+7.5- 115
+9.5 - 173!!!!

I'm not testing again until PMPS.

Oh and the icing on the cake: my BF was supposed to be here at 6pm and that's when my turkey dinner would be ready according to the instructions. The button in the turkey popped up 45 minutes early and BF will be an hour late because of his drooler. UGH! So I'm trying to keep the turkey warm and praying that it doesn't dry out.

he's just trying to give you an easy number so you can enjoy your dinner without having to jump up and test all the time. :smile:

Hopefully it's just from the Temptations and he'll come back down. Maybe save a little bit of that turkey for tonight and tomorrow's testing treats.

Will Boomer eat any other kind of treat? Last week, Gizmo shredded a sample pack of Temptations that I didn't see in a delivery of cat food. Gabby helped herself. Her numbers spiked and it took another cycle to get them out of her system.

Hi Ladies-

He'll eat turkey or chicken meat. Sometimes I try freeze-dried chicken and he's ho-hum about it. He didn't like Liv a Littles when he first became diabetic but maybe that's because he was still a crack addict and they didn't taste as good as Temptations or Whisker-Lickin's. If there's any turkey left after Dave get done with it I'll save it for Boomer. It smells really good. He should be here any minute.
