Hi,
Maggie was looking good at 7 am when her BG was 120. I did a blood check at 11:30 CT, and her BG is 66. This is a big drop for her, but then looking back at my SS, I usually don't check at +4. She's being picky today and not eating as much. Should I get some high carb food in her? I have some Friskies with gravy.
 
Please get a +5 if u can , no HC yet, but do post ur updates

Very nice AMPS, for something like this u generally would test at +3 to catch the drop early. Even a +2 would be good, but now u know for next time

Whew! thanks Ronnie; I got a bit worried when I saw that BG 66. I missed the +5, as it's after 1:00 pm CT here. I just tested at +6, and she's 150 BG!
Yes, now I know re testing. So no HC yet!

We generally suggest hit the gravy (HC) in the 40's, but it depends sometimes, u did fine thou!

Let's see where Maggie goes from here :-D
 
Okay, thanks. we will reserve the gravy for another time. She's sleeping in the chair by the patio asleep like a baby!

yes, Lucy is coming up on her 1 year anniversary of being Off the Juice. :smile: I'm so proud of her, she put me through the ringer but we made it!
 
Oh wow, that is wonderful about Lucy in remission. Way to go Lucy! I know what you mean about being put thru the wringer! It is nerve wracking in the beginning. She is a beautiful kitty!
