    Just talked to my vet. I am going to take Kirby to the clinic so they can monitor him since I have a long day at work.

    Great! I would not feel comfortable shooting and leaving since he’s new to the blues. Now he won’t lose momentum.

    Yes! The vet was very happy with his curve today. He also had no food since breakfast ... And so they don't want him to have snacks between meals.

    That's too bad. I'm sure Kirby would have had a similar nice cycle even with some food, and it would have been easier on his pancreas. It is so much better for diabetic cats (and people) to have frequent but smaller meals.
