BigMac says Happy New Year and a big THANK YOU to everyone who helped us last year on his road to OTJ.
It has been a healthy and happy year for him and a huge relief for his mamabean.
Because BigMac was no longer on insulin and was stable I was able to go out of state for extended times free
from worry to be with my dying father and enjoy his last days. This was the best gift of 2009.

Although my dad had to leave this earth, he did laugh at my stories of FDMB episodes and was very impressed at
the unlimited kindness and care that came from strangers on the internet. He said it did elevate his faith in his fellow
man. And then this description of 'strangers' disappeared to be replaced with 'friends.' Dad even got to meet one of my
FDMB friends when Venita came to the hospital a couple of times.

Anyway BigMac says ...meoowwrrr...!! And best wishes for everyone in 2010... and please... all cats get regulated right now!

P.S. BG is 86.
 
This has got to be the best way to ring in the New Year that I've seen. A very Happy New Year to you BigMac. Have yourself some niptini's today and do some celebrating. You've earned it!!
 
one year, wow, congratulations!!!

I can't believe they're even throwing a PARADE on TV to celebrate this event. :D

It must be such a wonderful relief to know that his numbers are holding for 365 days from his OTJ party....
I am imagining how wonderful that must be for you! Just think, you helped him heal his pancreas and he is
keeping it gong from day-to-day. Great job!

And how fortunate for US all that you are now formally an adviser to this forum... :mrgreen:

OMG! I can't believe that goofy camel came to the party... did you invite him? Hahahaha!!!!

Thank you for the such thoughtful words... they mean so much to me. I enjoy being here and have made so many cool friends. Better watch out - I've been known to travel to visit FDMB members ... I've already flown across the country to meet a fun group of NW coast members. Florida may be next... that's a threat.

BigMac couldn't care less, he just wants food, head rubs and a warm body to lean against at night. (Also he tries to eat my flowers, sheesh... )
 
Big Mac is such a handsome dude....how proud you must be..so happy that he is feeling good....
And Florida is so close...not a big trip at all...ready for some "fun" doing ear pricks in the WEE hours?
LOL For myself, I know the West coast people are more fun to be sure.....but we are more needy down here...LOL)
C'mon down..as the old commercial used to say....

I LOVED the story of your father. Its amazing how in tune Big mac was to your needs, as you were of his. Bless Big Mac's heart. :mrgreen:

So glad you have stuck around. I dont really look forward to anymore all nighters, but if I must I would share them with you anytime! :lol:

Oh Carolynn - what a wonderful day for you and your Big Mac! He is such a lucky kitty and YOU are such a wonderful mom! When are you coming to the PNW again???? :D
