I would like to express my deepest heartfelt thank you to all of you who have made this special day for me, Luna and Shawn the best day ever!

Shawn got home today and I showed him the party condo and he loved the OTJ video - absolutely loved it! I even saw him get a little teary eyed!
Many of you guys have asked what will I do every 2 hours? I'm gonna hound you for those spot checks! :lol: LOL! I'm kiddin' ;-)
I also can assure you that while I may of appeared calm and collected :roll: according to DBF Shawn, angry(2)_cat frustration, limited sleep and a couple of missed holidays with family, I wasn't always a joy to live with - his words tonite lol! But I see in his face how proud he is and happy that Luna is the silly happy kitty he grew to love when he first met him a few years ago.
One of my saddest memories is that DX day in August when the 2nd vet told me "most people give up and pts after a few months", plus "one day you will come home and your cat will be dead". Those awful memories have now been replaced with pride, joy and an enormous amount accomplishment to get to where we are today.
I urge everyone here to never ever give up. Despite the obstacles and the endless bounces, always remember, you are here to reach that goal of the happy healthy kitty you fell in love with.
They say we grow closer to them day after day - it's true, there is an incredible bond we have with our kitties that grows stronger everyday and it makes all those frustrating days and nights so much more worthwhile. Love, play and hug your beautiful little furballs everyday.
I want to send my deepest thanks and gratitude to the Lantus Land Team of wonderful, dedicated Angels - correction - Advisors! Without their knowledge, experience and dedication Luna would not be where he is today. I could not of done this without them.
Not only are they advisors, but they are also
our friends, our support team, here to hold our hands during those low numbers, to give us ((hugs)) for encouragement, to cheer us on and to remind us gently of the protocols, to have patience and to breath.
Thank you Jill, Libby, Cassandra and Bonnie (we miss u Bonnie!) for holding my hand and Luna's paw through rough times

JoJo, those days when we were corresponding about making the switch from Caninsulin, I have those notes all printed up since that day.
You welcomed Luna and I to Lantus Land and set us up in our daily cozy condo's. I will always be grateful to you for taking the time to help me make that switch.
On October 5th, 2009, Luna began his journey with a kinder, gentle insulin til 3 months to the day - January 5th, 2010, his last shot of Lantus before going on trial.
I won't be going anywhere, I love to help when I can, if I can, if I can't - you all get a PM from me! :lol: Maybe a few :lol:
