Ivana's bounce yesterday, if you can even call it a bounce, broke in the wee hours when she returned to a lovely green. AMPS this morning was blue again, but as of +3 we're back to greens.
Chardy is soldiering on, I've put her outside this morning as it's a lovely sunny morning so she can do some basking. She's separate from the other chickens and ducks though, to stop any bullying and make sure she gets some food. Yesterday she ate half a corn cob and an egg with gusto, which is a great sign, she's hanging on this girl.
+5 and Ivana is at 58 / 3.2. She's not interested in eating her lunch to help her surf (she's gone off her mid-cycle snacks these days), so I'm just going to have to keep an eye on her. I've got her snack warming in hot water at the moment to see if that will help it smell more enticing.
I heated up her snack, it was a tin chicken one. It had a lovely aroma (blerch) and felt nice and warm and squishy in my hand (double-blerch). You should have seen the look she gave me when I shoved my hand under her nose. This exact same food that she loved two days ago, is apparently now poison. She had about three licks and that was it. Worse than a toddler, I tell you.
Ivana has decided she doesn't like fresh meat anymore. Of course, this is after we did a trial run of a small batch to see what she liked and she loved it all (except chicken), so we went and bought a fair bit and cut it all up and bagged it into individual servings and froze them. *Now* she decides she doesn't like it Looks like the chickens are going to be feasting for a while!
In other news, Ivana has been heaving a bit late in the PM cycle (ie early morning at about +10 or so). I've started giving her the SEB as a powder rather than the slurry, as that way she's getting a bit more of it. So I'm giving 1/8t of the SEB mixed in to her food twice a day. I'm surprised that she's actually eating it as I bet it tastes foul, but hopefully tonight will be heave-free.
