1/13 Titan AMPS 169, +6 89, PMPS 111, +3 123 skin, urinary issues :(

Happy weekend everyone! Titan has been doing very well FD wise, just surfing his blues with a sprinkle of greens mixed in for good measure. This last week he has seemed to pick up a skin rash/scab issue. He is licking an awful lot as I'm sure it's itching him and there is not much hair left on his lower left leg and he's starting to work the right one . We think the Dx is Miliary dermatitis and can be readily fixed but his vet appt is not till Monday afternoon.we could not get in any sooner,as the vet office is running an open house on vaccinations Friday and today so it's a real zoo down there. We dropped off a urine sample for Titan today as he is having "issues" and we are thinking a possible UTI. We should get a report today before they close. He walked right into the bedroom closet yesterday and peed right in front of me on the carpet . Also lately he is hit or miss even if he's standing in the litter box. We have puppy pads all around the litter boxes to catch "overflow" . Paula sez he's trying to tell us something!

Oh no. Hope Titan is feeling better soon. That stinks that the vet can’t see him sooner.

Poor Titan! I'm so sorry you can't get him in to the vet until Monday. In the meantime, can you go to a pet store and get something to spray on the legs? There are products to relieve itching and help stop licking that might help.

Sorry about Titan's issues. Any chance in the fuds he's been getting lately?

As for hit or miss in the LB, is he no squatting as much? As Neko's acro induced arthritis got worse, she didn't squat so low and aim was worse. Any chance Titan is seeing some arthritis? Neko's aim always go better after her Cartrophen shot (Canadian shot similar to Adequan). Might want vetty to have a feel for arthritis too.

Any chance in the fuds he's been getting lately?

I don't think so, haven't changed anything. Howard the shop cat had same symptoms last year, vet chalked it up to a flea/mite reaction. Fleur has been in the house since her spaying, I'm pretty sure she went to the vets clean but may have brought something/somebody home. Ive treated all the indoor cats except Titan, waiting on vet to see him b4 giving him the treatment. Also after his couple excursions outside the box, he's been hitting inside the box . Go figure .
