Compounded gabapentin question, it says to keep refrigerated, it got left on the counter last night. Anyone with experience know if it is still good or do I need to fill another script for it?
Met with the new vet today and like him better then the old one. He was a little more on the ball and said "It REALLY sounds like you've done your homework" understatement of the year.
All thanks to the community here.

Jack let one rip in the office and the vet and asst. both looked at each other first, I had to chime in and say no, it was the cat
We reviewed the test results the last vet didn't call back about. GI panel is ordered and on its way and his weight is steady compared to the last visit, might have been bathroom related, but at least not losing more weight. Based on the results of the GI , if nothing stand out, we may start a trial of Nudesonide to see if it helps absorption in the GI tract. Overall a pretty good vetty visit, just hoping we can find some answers soon. Biopsy and some of the other tests are just too much for me right now with a new house potentially looming.
Hope all are doing good and Jack could use some good GI panel vines that shed some light on the situation.
I wonder if changing proteins to a more novel protein in the food might help, any thoughts? He currently gets turkey almost exclusively.

Changing proteins is likely a good first step. It's not unheard of for them to develop issues to one protein. Chicken and Turkey are more common than not. Ziwi Peak changed Doodles whole GI situation but it came with a hefty price tag and it's gone up even more
