The emotional roller coaster continues. I keep asking Neko "is today the day?" I am doing QOL assessments each day now. And sometimes the answer changes over the day. Things weren't looking good first thing this morning, but then she perked up and ate a really good first breakfast. And that's without tummy meds other then her usual Cerenia last night. So we carry on for now. I am a little worried about tomorrow. I am going to be gone most of the day quilting, and DH will be in charge. He won't do syringe feeding, so I'll have to make sure she's got lots in her before I leave.

Her heart seems fine (respiration rate good, breathing normal), kidney numbers are OK, it's been almost four weeks since her last Leukeran dose but I don't think any GI lymphoma would progress that fast. It just seems that Neko's body is getting tired and there's not much I can do to change that. I did up her Lev dose today since it'd been 7 cycles of high numbers and maybe good numbers will help.

Sorry for the gloomy Gus, yes - it's raining again here too.

Sigh... sending tons of vines, white light, and lots and lots of hugs.

Thinking of you and hoping Neko's appy picks up. Sending a plane load of the strongest Aussie appy and strength vines I can find to Neko.:bighug::bighug::bighug:

You're in such a tricky place, (((Wendy))). But I'm glad Neko ate a good breakfast (w/o extra appetite-enhancement meds!). Sending you and your girl love.

((((Wendy))))

I checked for a condo earlier this morning and was a bit :nailbiting::nailbiting: she was having a bad day when I didn’t see one so I’m happy to see one now and that this morning ended up a little better for her and she had a good breffis.

As always, you both are in my prayers; sending tons of vines her way and hugs yours.

Sorry about that - DH and I had to get the intro to a venue we are using for the rowing club year end party, so were gone early.

She's done a pretty good number on her fuds today. Not necessarily the ones that are best for her, but for the first time in ages she's eaten all of her AM calories by herself. She's also been walking a little bit more today than yesterday. She got some more SEB with aloe vera just now. I think she feels better in blue too. I trimmed her hind toenails today and did a bit of fur cleanup (she's not grooming anymore) and she's got enough spunk to tell me she still doesn't like me touching her tail and leg feathers. Unfortunately it's getting a bit knotty back there so I'm doing a bit of scissor work.

Sending vines and blessings for the beautiful tangled Neko. Glad to see that she's giving you a bit of cattitude and very happy about the fuds report, hoping she keeps that up, especially for tomorrow.

Sending you prayers for appy and sweet time spent together... keep loving her and caring for her as you have always done... you are a great bean! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Spunk is good. We like spunk. Right now I think we'd even take whappy paws from her (don't tell her I said that).

I'm glad to see the dosecrease brought her down a bit. I'll bet that helped her to feel better. I think day to day assessments are good. Just keep adjusting her dose to keep her numbers from skewing the picture and I think you'll have a good idea of what's going on.

Sending tons of vines, prayers and :bighug:s, with extra appy vines for tomorrow

Great report!!! Keep it up, Neko!!!

Wendy, I'm so glad that Neko has perked up for you today. I've been following Neko's days carefully, but I think today was the first time you mentioned the "question". I hope that day-to-day she will have some good quality time left. Your love for each other is so strong. Neko will tell you when it is time.

Thinking of you and sending a bouquet of beautiful vines for your girl.

Hugs and scritches, :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Yo Neko, Eat yer fuds. I'm making you a delicious chicken soup to snack on while your beans are out tomorrow.
Your friend,
Rusty

Woohoo - finally blue again at PS! She's still digging the Lamburgerini. Naturally it's higher phosphorus and sodium than I like, but I add P binder and cross my fingers on the sodium. And try to balance her second meal with something lower.

Thank you all for the visits, vines and hugs. It's a powerful thing from LL. It really helps both of us. :bighug:

What goes up must come down on the emotional roller coaster. Appy has disappeared again so unless the ondansetron does something good in the next hour, I'll be breaking out the syringes. :(
