Djoko did not have his normal appetite last night but with some parmesan, managed to eat enough to get his shot. He normally eats couple small meals during the day (supposed to help for cats w/ pancreatitis). He did not eat at +2 and did not want to eat anything, even grounded beef!
He vomited a lot. I felt that he was not well so gave him cerenia but unfortunately 5 min. before he vomited. I called the vet emergency clinic and said it was fine to give him another 1/4 of 16mg which I did. He vomited again. He was not hungry at all and I saw his BG levels do down very quick since he was on an empty stomach and for once he had a decent pre shot number (for his standards).
I was glad to have the libre so did a ear test with AT2 just to make sure the values were close enough. On alpha track 2, the lowet he went to is 4.1 (74 mg/dL) so at least no hypo. I checked his BG all night until 4am. Today he has eaten but cannot eat his normal meal which is chicken paw lickin weruva (what he vomited). He ate beef and FF chicken feast and liver.
I wish we could find something to prevent him from vomitting every 8-12 days.
