Yesterday, she started a drift going up.

Not sure what's up, other than Neko's numbers. Maybe bouncing to all the green she had a couple days ago? She seems otherwise fine. She's currently curled up in her newest bed. We played a trick on her today - unintentionally. Today it was my turn to stay in the cove for breakfast with the gang while DH went home to do TFS. I forgot to remind him to set up Otto (feeder). Anyway, we got home after Otto's first setting. Wish I'd had a camera pointed at the kitchen when he went off on the counter where Neko couldn't reach it. She was rather anxious to see us when we finally showed up.

OT: Torrential rain during the rowing time has let up. I saw a flash of sunshine a while ago. Beans are beat. 10K in the rain means water in the boat which makes it heavier to move. Naps were the order of the morning.

Happy Caturday everyone! Which reminds me, fresh catnip later on this afternoon.

Am I reading right that you rowed in the rain. That is true dedication. Come on down Neko. I hear the lagoon is nice.

It's a water sport. ;) We go out unless it's foggy, storm/lightning, or too many waves (wind). Truth be told, I was kind of hoping for higher winds this morning when I got up at 4:40. DH dragged me out. My 15 year old rain jacket is losing it.

Wendy, you remind me of my brother who goes out canooing everychance he gets. Used to do triathlons til his knee stopped him, then swapped to paddling. Practises almost every day. Recently he went in the Hawkesbury Canoe Classic race, a 111 km race. It is a nonstop marathon race and run overnight down the Hawkesbury river which is just on the northern outskirts of Sydney. A fierce electrical storm made the night a bit stressful. He almost pulled out but hates to give up so continued. He said at one stage when he was alone on the river (no other paddlers around) he thought he was going to get hit by lightening and fried. I remember that night and it was a really fierce electrical storm.

Awww Neko what did daddybean do to you!

Must confess I'm giggling at what the look on her little face must have been like when she heard it go - don't tell Neko though!

Hey Neko- Bounce?? You call THAT a bounce?? I showz youz a BOUNCE- Tiger :cat:

Wendy, I was thinking about you this morning- what a yucky windy rainy day- and I just knew you would be out on the water anyway!:rolleyes:
