AMPS: you don't want to know and I don't want to type it. :blackeye:

All this bouncing, I can't take it (and neither can her kidneys), she is spending way too much time in horrid numbers. I don't think she has anything going on like an infection. I don't think she is going too low and freaking out and bouncing. I don't think she is getting too much Karo and having a delayed spike from it. I do think this all started happening much more frequently when her dose lowered. Increased to .75. If I have to carb her up constantly to see if this works, so be it, it's one thing I can rule out if it doesn't.

Good luck with the increase. Somewhat surprised you had as much patience as you did on the old dose. ;)

Asia's number have improved, let's hope that she does not repeat such a high bounce. I find TiTI;s bouncing one of the more discouraging events of her care.

Hugs and anti-bouncing vines coming to you.:bighug::bighug:

:joyful: That is an oh so very accurate artistic interpretation of her SS recently! I hung on because she kept getting too close to below 50 and then bouncing. If a higher dose is just a bit too much for her, but keeps away these high numbers that she needs to dive from and repeat ad nauseam...c’est la vie, she’ll just earn a new nickname...Karo Cat, KC for short. :eek:

Thanks, Kathy. It is annoying, for sure. More green, less bouncing, that’s how I see it. I don’t mind the occasional bounce, at all, it’s like a vaca day for me. ...but this bounce every other cycle nonsense, not okay. o_O

Morning Stacy
Have a load of these
:bighug::bighug:

I have come to feel that dealing with a geriatric - hush her ears - has its own special problems. After all their body is wearing out & I think sometimes it just gives a bit of a creaky sigh of old age.
Hopefully her numbers will start to look a little better for you soon . She's a lovely pusscat.

All parts past their use by date, what can you do? :p

Well, humans just keep getting new parts. knees, hips, shoulders, reconstructed spines, hearts, kidneys, and on it goes. I think some of that's true for our animals now, too. Animal dentists even have caps for broken fangs.

"Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light."

Painfully true (just met with the spine surgeon today to plan my next back surgery).

I'm not sure I've ever seen a BG meter that said "yucky". I'm grateful for that. Asia, your trampoline privileges are hereby revoked!

Ah, I had one back thingy so far. 8hrs surgery, but that's cuz I let it go until I started experiencing paralysis in certain positions - like I couldn't drive any more. Now I'm told my neck needs a fixing upper. I'm putting it off as long as possible.
