Gizmo is surfing along. I am still checking his BG every night. I have a stockpile of strips that need used anyways.
Last night was the first night he has been close to the 120 mark (114) in quite a while. I’m sure he will head back down to the lagoon soon. As long as his numbers stay under 120 on AT2, I will be happy.
He continues to love to eat!
He is now easily eating 2 cans of friskies a day (averaging around 360-380 calories a day), but is struggling to gain any weight. He is at least holding steady around 10 pounds right now. Once he starts to gain some weight, I will experiment with some better food again, but right now I just need him eating.
We go back to the vet on Thursday for more blood work to check his thyroid and all the other values. We are still fine tuning his hyperT meds. My hope is that once that gets under better control, he will start to gain some weight.
Sending vines to all kitties in need and
to their beans!

It must feel so weird to not test and be able to go out/sleep without worry, not a bad problem to have, I’m sure you’ll get used to it.
Then the silly kitty demanded another breakfast when I actually got out of bed an hour later. And I of course obliged.
