Yesterday, Neko got just one shot as the beans were out at play during normal shot time.

5/30 Recap:
AMPS (@+18) 202 +5 220 +9 165

Apparently I should do 18 hours apart cycles more often. o_O This was a dose that wasn't getting Neko much green and I'd been muttering dosecrese. Neko was whining early for breffs this morning, but DH had gotten up early and yesterday breffs was 3 hours early. I thought she was just lobbying for early breffs. But no, it turned out to be her "I'z green" whine. Was I ever surprised at that test. And yes, I tested twice, the first was 95.

This proves that cats are never to be trusted. I thought that going to bed at +9 and 165 was safe - I did get almost 8 hours solid sleep. But Neko has me scratching my head this morning. Anyone want to chime in with any theories? Her meals were not changed, just the shot times.

Neko is in fine form this morning, currently hanging out with her best friend Otto and watching hummingbird TV. This morning was a special treat - raw wild boar. :) Not that Neko really cares what protein she gets, but Theo wolfed his down too. I won't serve it as a regular option for Neko. It's quite high fat/calories and pricy but maybe as an occasional treat. We did have an excellent acupressure session today. When I got to just above her sacrum again, she started up her deep purrs and did a heavy sigh. :):)

Happy Sunday everyone - vines to all in need.

Wow, Wendy, that is fantastic--Neko, way to go little sweetie! Pleasantly surprise your Mama :):cat: and get a special treat!

You got me on that one but I'd take it!! I know you had SRT done but does that preclude the pancreas from kicking in on its own since there is no longer a tumor to wax and wane?

Glad you had fun and got a nice long nights rest! So rejuvenating!

Sounds like a nice day at your house. Almost 8 hrs. sleep. Neko in the green and kitties getting a treat. What more could you ask for.:)

Wow!!! :D:D:D
This is so interesting.
Way to go, Neko!
I'm glad to hear that kitties are doing good, and you had fun yesterday. :)

I never really expected cats to like wild boar for some reason! o_O
Maybe because I've had wild boar before and I didn't like it, but I should try and see if Ginger likes it.
Is it Blue Kat?

At least Neko didn't surprise me with that +3. Food given that far after nadir (whatever/whenever is was) was bound to boost her up.
Neko will be so proud of herself, surprising everyone. :cat:

@Marje and Gracie - I really don't know what state Neko's tumor is in. Some people have had the tumor come back after SRT, and some of the kitties that went into diabetic remission after SRT have gone back on the juice. I suspect she's got at least part of a working pancreas, though she hasn't showed me anything like this for a while. I could pay north of a thousand dollars for a CT scan and see what her tumor looks like, but I'm not sure what I'd do differently with that knowledge.
@mariko - that's Yes on the BK wild boar. Maybe next week at Korna's 15% sale you can get some. And this morning she was tossing around one of the balls you gave her. :):) She really likes them.

Great AMPS Neko!
Wendy, you should know that cats are never to be trusted to do that which we think they will do!:joyful::joyful:
They like to keep us on our toes and if they see us relaxing and not focusing on them........they go into their little bag of tricks and pull out one to get our attention:cat::rolleyes:
Glad you had a good sleep though

Neko, you get the award today for the kitty that has most successfully confounded the beans! Nice job!

I guess you won't really know until the next time you try it, but maybe the 18 hour cycle just fits Neko better? Or maybe she's just being a cat. :p

That is impressive, Neko! What are you telling your beans? When Rusty did the 18-hour cycles I might just as well have given a "fur shot". ECID. But I might try it again sometime.
Rusty sort-of likes the Orijen Wild Boar treats, but prefers the Orijen Lamb treats. I still haven't tried him on raw food. I have a small bag of Prime turkey bits in the freezer, but am waiting until I'm sure he's over the pancreatitis flare to try him on it.

Have a good evening, guys,

Ella & Rusty

Whoa Neko--that's pretty amazing! Cats are so tricky!!

Gorgeous pics from your long trip yesterday--Wow! You guys and your exotic meats, I can hardly keep up! What is next, Tasmanian Devil LOL! :woot:

Tasmanian Devil - have never seen a real one, but I remember the one from Bugs Bunny cartoons :p
Neko is one cool kitty :cat:
