If Sly keeps up these numbers, I think we are going to call this a failed reduction ad go back to 0.5U. I know they are not that bad, but they are not what I want to see to take a cat off of insulin and if we send him back to go up for adoption on anything less than 1.0U he will be taken off of insulin. Sly needs a little more time in the healing zone I think.

Hubby reported PMPS. We'll see what the meter says when I get home
Looks like Sly heard me say if he was in the blues again tonight he was going back to 0.50U and just squeezed out a green. Unless he really drops tonight, I think we will still take him back up to 0.50U if he dawns higher tomorrow like he has been.

Is Sly getting a +8/+9 snack now? His dose is getting down there.

His auto feeder was set for +2,+8 and he'd get fed at shot times too. Hubby has been getting up and feeding them between +8 and +10 most nights instead since Sly is loose with the other cats more and ChrisFarley will take anything in the timed feeders. I tried him back in his room with his feeder on a night we got one of the higher blues, I think it stressed him out to be separated now.
