AMPS 284 Still trying to come down off that high bounce. Hopefully today she will drift down. Eating well and everything else seems OK with her.

After a week of rain, there are blue sky's above...I hope it lasts...the ground is very wet and squelchy.

Thanks Elise, Marilyn, Ruth, Carla and Suki for your support yesterday. Because the site was down (thanks Robert for getting it up and going again) I didn't see anything until this morning.

DGS is much better. The children's hosp he goes to has a fantastic action plan for asthma. @Tiger and Ruth normally he can be managed at home but he was seen by a local dr in the evening and his oxygen sats were only 94% at rest and the dr wanted him to go to hospital. These days they give more ventolin than they used to......he is only 3 and he was having 4 puffs ventolin every half hour until the wheezing stopped. Also started on small dose prednisone for 4 days which reduces the inflammation and makes a huge difference.

I had no grandkids yesterday so thought I would be able to sleep all day........but...one of my back teeth I have been having treatment on started to really hurt and I ended up spending a good part of the afternoon in the dentist chair having a root canal done:(
I went to bed at a reasonable hour last night and because Sheba was dropping slowly I only got up the once. But I am so overtired now I found it hard to get to sleep. Hopefully today I can catch up on sleep. Wish me happy ZZZZZZZ please!:joyful:

Hope you're having a blissful sleep Bron.

In regard to the carfate (sp?) that you mentioned for ulcers - would that just be stomach ulcers? Vyktors are in his mouth. Will do a full Vyktor update in tomorrow's condo but this week has been a good week for him. Thanks for thinking of us

The carafate is used for ulcers in the mouth as well so maybe Vyktor could benefit from them. It apparently coats the ulcer and let's it heal. @Vyktors Mum

Sheba has decided she is done with bouncing and has dropped to 173 at +3.5
Thanks Carla. I am hoping I get a chance to sleep today, and hoping nothing stops me. Terrible to spend one's days sleeping really

ETA +4 138 gave a tiny drop honey to slow drop...she is in a hurry.

Looks like our girls parked the trampoline for the moment.

Good news on DGS, no wonder you didn't get good sleep. Vines your mouth too. :bighug: I hope Sheba cooperates tonight.

Well so much for having a lazy day!! When China "talks", looks like Sheba listened...a little too well!

Sheba....time to come up now....and you don't need to go crazy .....just a little "up"...not a LOT "up"!

Sheba obviously wants your full attention today and isn't going to give you much nap time. Hope you are not in pain after the visit to the dentist, root canal work isn't nice but usually solves the problem. Glad to hear your little DGS is feeling much better.

@suki & crystal
I hate root canal work...but had no choice..the dentist had been at a conference in the city but came back after it mid afternoon to do it for me. He is a lovely young fellow. I used to work with his father who was a local dr...and just as nice. No more pain so that is good. Have to go back next week to have it all completed.
We are all thankful DGS recovered so well. When he got to the hospital the ER doctor said...well he will either get better quickly or get much sicker quickly. Thankfully it was the former. Kept me awake worrying until I heard he was on the improve.
Sheba is hanging around me today...she usually goes off in the afternoon to sleep...I think she is hungry because of the low numbers.
