Max ate his leftovers from last night early this morning which may or may not explain his amps. He managed to spit out his gel cap undetected by me for a half hour or so as he came in to try and sit in my iPad and get brushed. So he got extra Gerbers to wash down his gel cap and so far hasn't touched his roo.

Prayers out to Jezebel's bean on the loss of her fur baby and healing vines to Shadow as well as the usual extras for Amy's DF, Marje'sDM Tricia's 4 and for successful OTJ for Chi Chi and Michael. Hope I didn't leave anyone out.

Just checked CPC already. Almost sure First Mate Chicken has been vetoed. I'll try one more spoonful before I throw the can out. I'll see if turkey appeals more.

So First Mate food is in the low 20% carbs and I'm not as disappointed that Max doesn't like it much. Since he did eat some maybe that is increasing his BG. On to the next ones.
 
Did you email the FirstMate people about their food? I also got the numbers, but hadn't run it through the calculator yet. Maybe it's an HC for me.

Nice day for Max in spite of it all.

Yes, I did email them. I posted the numbers in the health forum. I meant to write you to take a look. It's hoc for me too. I wonder if that is why the trend up or he's just taking a break. He didn't have that much of it. He didn't love it. I will try the turkey if I need he to see if he likes it better as at least it's grain free.
 
Hopefully ax will come down again tonight. Crazy but it makes me feel better when he trends up a little from time to time. I'm not used to flat normal for him.

My mom did get to the podiatrist today so today was a better day than the last couple. Her mood was better without the weekend CG. She needs to be replaced.
 
Glad to hear your mom is feeling a bit better today. Hope you can solve the caregiver dilemma, they seem to be never ending!

Max's numbers do look nice today. Hopefully he gives you a good night!

I have had that sneaky cat experience many times. Usually I don't discover it until much later, and then I'm not sure if it was today's dose or not. :rolleyes:

I'm glad he's eating for you. I prefer a little action to flat numbers, too.

It's great that your DM went to the podiatrist. Getting out is so important to their mental well being. I sure hope you find a CG that will work out,

I'm glad to hear your mom's doing a bit better - if she has a CG that antagonizes her then it's no doubt better to find a new person. Good luck with that!
 
Didn't expect a big drop. Expect the unexpected with Max is the rule rather than the exception. Not complaining. I just wish I was better at predicting what he will do.
