Increased to 6.75 units last night to try to calm the bounces ... was a bit concerned that I might have increased on a bounce clearing cycle, but at +6 it was painfully obvious that was not the case!

I'm sure he will come back down to blues today.

Me too. It has taken all summer to get the tests and get him on the meds. But finally ... we have succeeded! Now he just needs to be a good kitty and work the cabergoline.

 

Acro kitties on a smaller dose of insulin (like Gizmo) have responded better to Cabergoline than the big gulpers (like Bronx). Good luck!

 

I hope the increase helps flatten Gizmo out. Good luck with the Cabergoline.

I know ... I keep telling myself it is going to work for Gizmo because of that very reason.
