That was big drop. Does she get fed mid cycle or just at preshot? Hope she surfs safely now.

She always worries us because she seems to drop so fast when she does drop. She gets fed when hungry but if I think she is going to dive we feed only a teaspoon at a time in case she needs mc or hc food. We don't feed 2 hours before preshot.

Not sure how to proceed. She is starting to go low and her PMPS is 75. She had food after pmps but we have not shot. We cannot test all night. Please advise safest way to go. Thanks

How long is it past shot time now? Did you shoot? How late can you monitor tonight?

The safest, but not always the best route, is to skip. Another is to delay 20-30 minutes without feeding, and see if she is rising.

15 minutes past shot time. We did NOT shoot. We can monitor twice? She already ate 45 minutes ago.

It's always better to test, then feed. Too late for the stalling option now. You could retest now and see where she is, then test again in 1/2 hour and see if she's zoomed up a lot, then shoot. But then you'll be around an hour of schedule, which shouldn't be too bad to get back. How late, to what + time can you monitor tonight?

We did test then feed? We just didn't shoot? We just retested and she is at 102 (20 minutes after normal pmps). She went up but didn't zoom. We can monitor twice whatever + is best. But not every 1/2 hour or hour.

I meant you should test and not feed until you are certain you are going to shoot. She's up almost 40 points, that could be her dinner. You could still test again in 1/2 hour and see if she's well on her way up and then shoot. There are no guarantees what she'd do tonight, though she does have a track record of bouncing after seeing green.

We are going to do what you said; test in 1/2 if up and see if she is rising and then shoot. Do you have any recommended test times for tonight? She we feed again if we shoot? Thanks for all the help.

Yes, you can feed again if you shoot. I would start with a +2 after the shot. If it's still rising, chances are she'll bounce tonight.
