I've just heard from Patty. I didn't like to ring her as I thought she might be sleeping after such a long night.
TUCKER MADE IT THROUGH THE NIGHT!
I can't tell you how relieved I was to hear from her and hear that.
She has just given approval for a full body ultrasound and they want to insert a feeding tube if the ultrasound doesn't show up anything too lethal. They put him on an insulin drip because the pancreatitis is throwing him all ove the place. He's on strong pain meds and because he is so unstable he has a vet, not a vet nurse, with him all the time.
They want to make sure there isn't other organ failure happening.
They have not suggested euthanasia but have said they need the unltrasound to look at the rest of him in case he is shutting down.
The vet said he is a very sweet boy and purrs when she pats and talks to him.
As long as he is not being treated Patty can visit anytime and she spent several hours with him earlier and he knew her and tried to get to her.
Please keep the prayers, vines coming. He needs them all and I'm sure the magic of this board is working

Thanks Bron to be there for Tucker and Patty! You're wonderful! :bighug::bighug:

I have been checking in literally every half hour all day. I am so relieved to hear that Tucker has made it through the night. What a relief. Thanks so much for providing an update Bron. You are a one of the star players in this situation. :bighug:

Patty and Tucker I Have been thinking of ya’s all day. I’m sending ultrasound vines and trading in any universal positive karma that I am owed for Tucker to recover. I hope hope hope the next update is as positive as I feel about this one!

You can do it Tucker! We’re all behind you!! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

My heart feels such relief and gladness to hear he made it through and getting more diagnostics and care. Tucker, you can do it! You are fighting so hard, all of you. :bighug:

Sleepy Alice’s foot just brushed my foot as I was writing that and I remembered the flood of anxiety, of fear, when she was critical in hospital, how much I put into her, how healthy she is again, and her sleepy foot was a beautiful comfort. Sending all the light and love and healing vibes your way, Tucker baby. From Alice too. <3

I am praying for you Tucker, you can make it , praying to give you strength Patty.
He's such a handsome boy, come on Tucker fight with all your might

I am so happy about the hopeful news. All my prayers that his organs stay stable. Tucker, you're strong, you can make it.
Thank you Bron for the updates, we're literally all hanging on your words. You're doing an amazing job.
Please Patty be strong, I send you big hugs from Oregon. :cat::bighug:

Text from Patty. Just copying and pasting.....as am just out the door picking up kids from school
The hospital just rang. They said there was no sign of cancer anywhere and the other organs looked ok. The pancreas was massive and extremely "angry". She said the doctors that were present during the exam were shocked and even more surprised he had not been screaming in pain and was actually eating anything at all. They increased his pain meds and have also increased the insulin drip. We can see him at 8.
